600 years ago, in the deep night of Jeonju Gyeonggijeon, King Sejong sat alone by candlelight, filling the Jungganbo with a ‘sound of our own.’ He dreamed of a melody that would comfort the people and be enjoyed by all, rather than music that merely upheld royal authority.

The result of that solitary study was ‘Yeominrak’ (Joy of the People)—a sound completed only when the King’s heart reached the lives of his people.
