한경수의 ** <ENDING POINT> **는 소리가 사라진 이후의 시간에 주목하는 작업이다. 기타 연주가 끝나는 순간, 우리는 흔히 울림의 종료를 인식하지만, 작가는 그 이후에도 계속되는 진동과 잔향에 시선을 돌린다. 이 작품은 들리지 않게 된 소리가 여전히 공간과 감각 속에서 살아 움직인다는 사실을 회화적으로 사유한다.

화면에 등장하는 반복적인 선과 중첩된 구조, 긴장감 있는 형태들은 소리의 물리적 파동이 시각적 리듬으로 전이된 결과이다. 명확한 시작과 끝을 규정하기 어려운 이 구조는 '엔딩 포인트'라는 제목과 역설적인 관계를 이루며, 종결이 아닌 지속으로서의 끝을 암시한다.

Rather than depicting the instrument itself, the artist translates the lingering echoes and rhythmic traces of sound into lines, planes, and layered structures. The repeated linear patterns and tense forms suggest waves of vibration that persist beyond silence, revealing a sense of time in which endings and beginnings are inseparable. Here, the "ending point" is not a conclusion but a moment of resonance. Though the performance ceases, its vibration remains, unfolding within the viewer's perception. Han extends the physical phenomenon of sound into a painterly language, expressing the invisible energy that lingers in memory and emotion, and proposing an art that continues to breathe even after silence.
