<ENDING POINT>는 두 인물의 병치된 형상을 통해 '끝'이라는 개념을 단절이 아닌 또 다른 생성의 지점으로 전환시키는 작품이다. 화면 속 인물들은 서로를 마주한 듯 보이지만, 시선은 어긋나 있고 형태는 분절되어 있다. 이는 관계의 종결, 정체성의 해체, 혹은 시간의 경계에 선 존재를 암시한다.

강렬한 핑크색 배경은 감정의 표면을 과감히 드러내는 무대로 작용하며, 그 위에 중첩된 녹색·청색·검정의 얼굴은 내면의 층위와 충돌하는 자아를 상징한다. 선과 물감의 흘림, 즉흥적인 드로잉은 통제되지 않은 감정과 기억의 잔상을 기록하듯 화면을 가로지르며, 끝점에서조차 지속되는 움직임과 긴장을 만들어낸다.

특히 기타를 연주하는 듯한 제스처는 소리 없는 음악, 혹은 이미 끝난 연주의 잔향을 떠올리게 하며, 'ENDING POINT'가 곧 침묵이 아닌 여운의 상태임을 강조한다. 이 작품에서 끝은 결말이 아니라 축적된 시간과 감정이 응축되는 순간이며, 다음 서사를 준비하는 잠정적 정지점이다.

<ENDING POINT>는 삶과 관계, 예술 행위 자체가 도달하게 되는 경계의 순간을 시각적으로 제시하며, 관람자로 하여금 자신의 끝'이어디에서 새로운 시작으로 전환되는지를 사유하게 만든다.

The vivid pink background functions as a stage where emotion is laid bare, while overlapping tones of green, blue, and black articulate inner layers of the self in tension and collision. Dripping paint, impulsive lines, and gestural marks traverse the surface like traces of uncontained emotion and memory, generating movement and intensity even at the moment of an apparent end.

The gesture of holding and playing a guitar evokes a silent music-the resonance of a performance already completed-underscoring that the "ending point" is not silence but lingering reverberation. Here, the end is neither closure nor finality, but a condensed moment in which time and emotion accumulate, poised for transformation.
