Manuel Godoy has received international awards for Orchestra Conducting in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal. He has been invited to work with prestigious professional orchestras and Wind ensembles, the Orquesta de la Costa Atlántica de Portugal, Orquesta Sinfónica de Castellón, Orquesta de Valencia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Córdoba, Orquesta Sinfónica de Extremadura, Orquesta Sinfónica de 
La Rioja, Joven Orquesta Nacional from Spain, Palma de Mallorca wind orchestra, Barcelona, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Band, Barcelona High School of  Music (del Bruc), La Lira Ampostina wind Band, Paris Police Orchestra d'harmonie,  Symphonic wind Band from Tarragona, etc ... 

 

 

He has worked as an internal Opera Director with the Valencian Community Ochestra at the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, participating in: “Simón  Boccanegra”, “Aida”, “Macbeth (Verdi),“ L'elixir d'amore ”(Donizetti), or“ Turandot ”(Puccini), where he collaborates with Zubin Mehta on the CD recording. 

 

He has received numerous awards, including the Manos Unidas in school composition, Honorable Mention in the international course "The art of conducting" with teacher George Pehlivanian. He receives a special award by decision of the masters Joaquín Achúcarro and Bruno Aprea through the Eutherpe Foundation in León (Spain), First Prize in the international competition of Orchestra Conducting Ville d'Avray (Paris), First Prize in the international competition of Orchestral conducting in Esposende (Portugal), Second Prize, with a special audience award at the International Conducting Competition in Córdoba (Spain), Special Jury Prize “Maestro Giancarlo Facchinetti” at the International Modern and Contemporary Music Competition in Brescia ( Italia), to the best Director of the work "Story of a soldier" by Stravinsky. He has participated in national and international interpretation juries in Elda and Altea in Alicante. 

 

 

Participate in a masterclass with prestigious international teachers, Bruno Aprea, George Pehlivanian, Eugene Corporon, Yaron Traub, Arturo Tamayo, Cervera Collado, García Asensio, Jorma Pamula and Henrie Adams. 


Selected to conduct the closing concerts of different international courses: the Galicia Youth Orchestra, the Ljubljana Philharmonic Orchestra (Slovenia) and the Valencia University Orchestra, he collaborates with prestigious soloists: the guitar Rubén Parejo, the soprano Astrid Crone, the pianists Josu de Solaun, Juan Valero and Anna Petrova. He is currently a high school music teacher and principal conductor of the Tavernes de la Valldigna Symphony Orchestra (Valencia), the Santa Cecilia de Ador Wind band (Valencia), the Buñol Brass and Percussion Group, as well as associate conductor of the Jean-Louis Petit Chamber Orchestra, where he has conducted Mozart's Requiem on different occasions in the Church of La Madeleine in ParisManuel Godoy has received international awards for Orchestra Conducting in  France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
