파라과이 국립경찰 교향악단의 음악대장은 오스카 바레토(Oscar Barreto) 이다.  

원래는 1912년 부터 거슬러 올라간다 즉 경찰 마칭 밴드로 시작하였고 오스카 바레토가 2014년 부터  경찰 교향악단(80명). 밴드 오케스트라. 재즈 오케스트라가 창설하여 공연 활동을 하고 있으며  또한 경찰 음악 아카데미를 만들면서 음악관련된 경찰로 지원해서  1년동안 시험을 거쳐 합격을 하게 되면  각 실력에 따라 각 단체로 파견된다.
