아리랑 오케스트라의 창단은 저의 오랜 꿈이었죠. 오케스트라가 많은데 또 하나의 오케스트라가 만들어지는 것이 아닙니다. 이 오케스트라는 한국의 오케스트라이자, 다국적 오케스트라입니다. 글로벌 시장의 콘셉트에 맞춘 오케스트라입니다. 세계에서 단 하나밖에 없는 유일한 것입니다. 그 정체성과 기능과 역할이 다른 오케스트라입니다. 아리랑 오케스트라는 빠른 시간내에 세계에서 가장 유명한 오케스트라이자 친숙한 이름의 오케스트라가 될 것입니다. KBS 교향악단이나 서울시향, 그리고 더 많은 오케스트라들보다 아주 쉽게 기억할 것입니다. 아리랑은 이미 세계인이 사랑하는 멜로디이고 그것이 한국이란 것을 다 알고 있기 때문입니다.
Founding the Arirang Orchestra has been a long-time dream of mine. There are many orchestras, but another orchestra is not created. This orchestra is a Korean orchestra and a multinational orchestra. This is an orchestra tailored to the concept of the global market. It is the only one of its kind in the world. It is an orchestra with different identities, functions, and roles. Arirang Orchestra will soon become the world's most famous orchestra and a familiar name. You will remember it much easier than the KBS Symphony Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and many more orchestras. Arirang is already a melody loved by people around the world, and everyone knows that it is Korean.
민간 오케스트라이지만 대한민국의 대표성을 갖는 오케스트라로 발전할 것입니다. 단원 구성도 다국적입니다. 음악을 사랑한다면 누구라 연주하며 즐기면서 함께하는 오케스트라입니다. 한국 작품을 중심으로 세계의 음악을 끌어 안을 것입니다. 당연히 우리 국악기가 함께 합니다. 동시에 한국음악의 브랜드로인 K 클래식을 알릴 것입니다. 이미 아리랑 오케스트라에는 37개국 107명의 명예감독이 위촉된 바 있습니다. 이들과 함께 하면서 음악이 인류에게 지구촌 사람들에게 위안과 치유와 평화를 추구할 것입니다. 우리의 홍익인간 세상을 구현할 것입니다.
Although it is a private orchestra, it will develop into an orchestra that represents Korea. The structure of the units is also multinational. If you love music, this is an orchestra where you can play and have fun. We will embrace music from around the world, focusing on Korean works. Of course, our traditional Korean musical instruments are included. At the same time, we will promote K Classic, a brand of Korean music. Already, 107 honorary directors from 37 countries have been appointed to the Arirang Orchestra. By working with them, music will seek comfort, healing, and peace for humanity and people around the world. We will implement our Hongik Ingan world.
의상도 바뀝니다. 연미복만 입는 것이 아니라 아름다운 색깔의 한복을 입습니다. 그렇게 하면 지구촌 어디서에서도 차별성을 드러냅니다. 우리 작곡가의 작품과 우리 연주가의 협연을 통해 상호 문화교류가 시작됩니다. 물론 지구촌 곳곳에서 사운드를 울리는 메타버스형 브랜드 오케스트라가 될 것입니다.

아리랑 가락의 치유처럼 세계의 고통도 끌어 않아야죠
아리랑 월드 오케스트라는 향후 UN 피스코와 함께 그 영역을 넓혀갈 것입니다. 사회봉사와 공익적 가치를 실현할 것입니다. 문화와 예술은 경험을 통해서만 이해되고 공유됩니다. 갈등과 반목, 전쟁의 고통과 참혹함이 있는 세상에서 음악은 깊은 위안이자 치유입니다. 아리랑 선율에는 사람의 영혼을 치료하는 힘이 있다고 합니다. 세계인과 나누는 정신의 양식이기를 바라면서, 성원하시는 분들과 함께 오케스트라 창단의 그 날을 기다립니다.
Arirang World Orchestra will expand its scope with UN Pisco in the future. We will realize social service and public value. Culture and art are understood and shared only through experience. In a world filled with conflict, hostility, and the pain and cruelty of war, music provides deep comfort and healing. It is said that the Arirang melody has the power to heal the human soul.
