K-클래식 조직위원회(K-Classic Organizing Committee)는 대한민국의 우수한 문화예술 콘텐츠를 세계와 공유하고 문화 교류를 활성화하기 위해 설립된 민간 문화예술 플랫폼입니다. 위원회는 한국의 창작 음악, 오페라, 오케스트라, 전통예술을 기반으로 K-Classic의 세계화를 추진하며, 음악을 통해 국가와 국가, 사람과 사람을 연결하는 문화외교 활동을 전개하고 있습니다.
여민락 앙상블(Yeominrak Ensemble)은 세종대왕이 직접 작곡한 궁중음악 「여민락」의 정신을 현대적으로 계승하기 위해 창단된 예술단체입니다. 여민락은 '백성과 함께 즐긴다'는 뜻을 담고 있으며, 음악을 통한 화합과 평화, 공존의 가치를 상징합니다.
K-클래식 조직위원회와 여민락 앙상블은 대한민국에 주재하는 각국 대사관의 국경일을 축하하며, 문화예술을 통한 우정과 상호 이해 증진을 위해 특별 축하공연을 제공하고자 합니다. 이는 단순한 공연을 넘어 서로의 문화를 존중하고 우호 관계를 더욱 발전시키는 K-컬처 문화외교 프로젝트의 일환입니다. 음악은 언어를 넘어 세계를 연결합니다. 여민락의 정신이 세계 시민들과 함께 울려 퍼지기를 희망합니다.
A Cultural Diplomacy Initiative for National Day Celebrations
The K-Classic Organizing Committee is a private cultural organization dedicated to promoting Korean classical arts and fostering international cultural exchange through music and performing arts. Through original Korean music, opera, orchestral works, and traditional heritage, the Committee seeks to introduce K-Classic to global audiences and strengthen cultural ties among nations.
The Yeominrak Ensemble was established to reinterpret and share the spirit of “Yeominrak,” the royal court music composed by King Sejong the Great. The title Yeominrak means “music enjoyed together with the people,” symbolizing harmony, peace, and coexistence through music.
To celebrate the National Days of foreign embassies in the Republic of Korea, the K-Classic Organizing Committee and the Yeominrak Ensemble wish to offer special commemorative performances as a gesture of friendship and cultural goodwill. This initiative is part of a broader K-Culture cultural diplomacy project designed to promote mutual understanding, respect, and international friendship through the universal language of music. Music transcends language and connects humanity. We hope that the spirit of Yeominrak will resonate with people around the world and contribute to a more harmonious global community.
