Sophia Art Company, K-Classic

The K-Arts Era:
Art and Music Fly on One Wing
— A New Platform of Artistic Solidarity Opened by K-Classic and Sophia Jung Gallery

The AI Era Demands the Integration of Artistic Genres

Throughout the history of art, painting and music have always moved as one sensory language. Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and Modigliani’s portraits of opera singers reveal how deeply the arts have admired and inspired one another. Human perception was never divided into isolated senses of sight and sound. Art has always crossed boundaries and evolved through mutual influence.

Yet industrialization gradually separated artistic genres into isolated systems. Painting became confined within galleries, while music remained trapped inside concert halls. In the process, the arts began losing their shared language. The stagnation felt in today’s cultural scene may, in fact, stem from this very separation. That is why, in the AI era, integration between artistic disciplines has become more essential than ever.

A recent conversation with Sophia Art Company CEO Jung Ji-hye reaffirmed this perspective. She remarked, “AI may replicate data, but it cannot imitate the spark of human inspiration that emerges when different artistic genres collide.” Indeed, no matter how advanced technology becomes, it cannot replace the resonance of integrated human emotion and artistic experience.

Captain Kang Sang-bo: “Art Is the Direction of Human Life and the Blueprint for Future Generations”

Likewise, 캡틴 강상보, author of The Master Key and a leading advocate of the philosophy of “Meaning Civilization” in the post-AI era, emphasizes that “art is the direction of human life and the blueprint for future generations.” He argues that the future cannot rely solely on memorization-based education or technological competition. Instead, humanity must ultimately return to culture, the arts, and the humanities as the center of civilization. In this sense, he believes the current fusion project between visual art and music should become a defining cultural trend of the new era.

This is precisely where the new potential of K-Classic begins to emerge. Following K-Pop and BTS, K-Classic is now gaining attention as the “Next Version” of Korean culture. It is evolving beyond a musical genre into a broader K-Arts platform. The upcoming project, The Meeting of Six Composers and Six Artists, symbolizes this transformation. Music becomes the stage for painting, and painting becomes the visual landscape of music. Beyond Collaboration: A New Strategy for the Global Market

This is not merely collaboration. It is a new strategy for entering the global cultural market.
Today’s world no longer seeks isolated content. It seeks total art — a synthesis of sound, image, space, and narrative. The alliance between K-Classic and Sophia Jung Gallery moves precisely in that direction. By developing regional stories and indigenous themes into nationwide touring exhibitions and performances, while simultaneously expanding into international cultural networks in Osaka, Taipei, Venice, and Abu Dhabi, the project presents a remarkably strategic vision.

Sophia Art Company Opens a Global Network with K-Classic

Founded in 2009 in Korea, Sophia Art Company, led by Sophia Jung Ji-hye, has introduced a new management model through art shows, collaborative gallery exhibitions, artist directing, and corporate partnerships, providing artists with diverse opportunities to enter the global art market. Its signature project, Art Cosmopolitan, has become recognized as a “base-camp style” global art marketing platform connecting Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, the Middle East, and Europe.

As CEO Jung pointed out, the many empty galleries and small theaters today are not suffering from a lack of content, but from a lack of systems that connect them. Paintings can become the backdrop for performances, while performances can attract audiences back into exhibition spaces.

The era now demands not only creation, but also the art of curating and managing where and how creative works are placed. From Cultural Importer to Cultural Platform For decades, Korea lived within a structure of importing Western culture. But now K-Culture is entering an era of cultural export.
Korean aesthetics and identity are being presented in New York, Paris, Venice, and Abu Dhabi. The key is no longer simply “going abroad,” but becoming the central platform that shapes global cultural discourse. That is cultural leadership. Art and Music Must Fly Together

Ultimately, the future of art does not lie in separating genres, but in allowing them to become wings for one another. When painting and music, performance and exhibition, technology and human emotion merge together, a new artistic civilization beyond AI can finally emerge. This is the K-Arts era. And this is why art and music must fly together on one wing.
